Come Learn Something New

Published Tuesday, September 7, 2010 by Dave Woodson

If you are an "average" Real Estate agent or mortgage professional you may have never been to a ReBarCamp. In the last year, we have hosted two in the state of Indiana, two in Columbus,OH and one in Chicago. They have been held regularly around the nation at about the rate of one per month most recently in Orlando, FLA. So, what is a ReBarCamp you ask?

This is my definition....

A BarCamp is a place where like-minded real estate professionals gather to exchange ideas about real estate marketing when it comes to social media, blogging, pay per click, search engine optimization and email marketing. Plus, whatever else they are using to market to get new clients and to their past clients.

The only real fear you should have about coming to BarCamp Indiana is getting so much new information is that you won't know which way to turn when you get home, The real trick is to take one or two good ideas that you can take home with to help you increase your listings and sales, whether you go from one a month to two a month. It is never too late to start.

Just remember there are two rules that I know of at BarCamp...there is never a stupid question and the law of two feet.(if you don't like what you are hearing you can get up and leave and the speaker will not be offended)  Oh, there is one more rule, when the leader of your leading the discussion it is not a sales pitch. They are not here to sell you their product during their discussion.

So, you get all this for the low low price of FREE, the only thing that will cost you money is your lunch and even then you will be learning something as Matthew Ferrara will deliver what I believe to be a killer keynote address that will make us all better agents and mortgage professionals. So, don't wait sign-up today and learn something new that no one in your office will learn.
